Analytics: see how your published posts perform

What the Analytics dashboard shows, which posts it counts, how each number is calculated, and when your numbers update.

Analytics shows how the posts you publish through Whaaat AI perform. You can find it under Analytics in the left menu. It is available on every plan, including trials. Make sure to set up auto-posting to use Analytics.

👉 Activating auto-posting and connecting your social accounts

Only posts published through Whaaat AI are counted. Posts published with Publish now or Auto-post appear in Analytics. Remind me posts and posts you publish directly on a platform do not.

What the page shows

  • KPI cards: Impressions, Interactions, Engagement rate and Posts published for the last 30 days, each compared with the period before.

  • Reach & Interactions: a weekly chart of impressions and interactions.

  • Top Posts: your five posts with the most impressions.

  • Ask Betty about these numbers: a shortcut to ask Betty what your results mean and what to post next. See Betty, your personal analytics agent.

Analytics measures your posts, not your account, so follower numbers and audience growth are not part of it. The time periods are fixed: there is no date range picker, filter or per-channel view.

Which posts are counted

  • Publish now: counted.

  • Auto-post: counted. This includes posts an agent scheduled from the chat where you chose Yes, auto-post this.

  • Remind me: not counted. You post it yourself, so Whaaat AI has no connection to the live post. The same applies to posts scheduled from the chat with No, keep manual.

If you want a channel's posts measured, publish them with Publish now or Auto-post. See Scheduling and publishing posts.

Channels. Statistics come from Postproxy, Whaaat AI's publishing partner. LinkedIn delivers statistics for Company Pages only; posts on a personal LinkedIn profile get no statistics.

Carousels count as one post.

History. When Analytics launched, statistics were loaded for all posts published through Whaaat AI in the 90 days before.

Whose numbers you see

Analytics covers your whole organization. It includes every post published through Whaaat AI by anyone in your organization, on any connected account, and everyone in the organization sees the same numbers.

The brand profile switcher at the top left does not change the numbers. Analytics always shows all brand profiles together.

The KPI cards

  • Impressions: how often your posts were shown, as reported by each platform.

  • Interactions: likes + comments + shares. Saves and link clicks are not counted.

  • Engagement rate: interactions ÷ impressions. For example, 190 interactions on 9,600 impressions is an engagement rate of about 2%.

  • Posts published: how many posts Whaaat AI published for your organization.

All four cards cover the last 30 days, rolling.

The comparison line

Under each number you see the change vs. last month, meaning the 30 days before the current period. Green with an upward arrow means up, red with a downward arrow means down.

  • Impressions and Interactions show the percent change, for example +31.8%.

  • Engagement rate shows the change in percentage points (pp). For example, -1.1pp means the rate went from 3.1% to 2.0%.

  • Posts published shows the difference in posts, for example +3.

Reach & Interactions chart

The chart shows impressions (yellow, left axis) and interactions (blue, right axis) per calendar week. The two axes use different scales, so the lines show trends rather than a direct comparison of the two values.

The chart is labelled "last quarter". It shows the last 90 days, rolling.

Top Posts

Your five posts with the most impressions in the last 90 days, rolling, highest first. The section is labelled "this quarter".

Each row shows the post's title, channel, impressions, likes, comments and shares. Open opens the post in Whaaat AI, not on the platform.

When numbers appear and update

  • Statistics are fetched every 3 hours.

  • A new post shows its first numbers with the next fetch, so up to 3 hours after publishing.

  • Each post's numbers keep updating for 90 days after publishing. After that they stay as they are.

  • If you disconnect a channel, a connection expires or you delete a post on the platform, the numbers already collected stay in Analytics. New numbers for that post may stop coming in.

No performance data yet

If nothing has been published through Whaaat AI yet, the page shows No performance data yet and the KPI cards show 0. To change that:

  1. Connect a channel under Settings, then Social Connections. See Connecting social accounts.

  2. Publish a post with Publish now or Auto-post.

  3. Come back after the next fetch, at most 3 hours later.

Best practices

  • Publish through Whaaat AI if you want it measured. A channel you run on Remind me stays invisible in Analytics. Once you trust your agents' output there, moving it to Auto-post also gets you the numbers.

  • Judge content by engagement rate, not only impressions. Impressions tell you how far a post travelled, engagement rate how well it landed.

  • Give new posts time. Numbers arrive up to 3 hours after publishing and keep growing for days. Compare posts once they have had a fair run.

  • Ask Betty why, not just what. The dashboard shows that something changed. Betty can tell you which posts or channels caused it and what to try next.

  • Use a LinkedIn Company Page if LinkedIn results matter to you. Personal profiles deliver no statistics.

Common issues

  • My post is not in Analytics: it was posted with Remind me or directly on the platform, or it was published less than 3 hours ago.

  • My LinkedIn posts show no numbers: they went to a personal profile. Only Company Pages deliver statistics.

  • Switching brand profiles does not change the numbers: that is expected. Analytics always shows the whole organization.

  • An older post stopped changing: numbers are updated for 90 days after publishing, then they stay as they are.
