The Content editor: editing, versions, and scheduling
What the Content editor does: edit text, manage versions and media, move a piece through its lifecycle, and copy or export it.

Whenever an agent creates a piece of content, it opens in the Content editor. This is where you edit the text, track the piece through its lifecycle, and get it ready to publish. Open it from any agent's Draft by clicking Open Content, or from the Planner. Close it with the X in the top-right, or use Back to contents to return to your list of content.
The content lifecycle
Every piece has a status, shown as a pipeline near the top, that keeps your content organized: Idea, Draft, Ready, Scheduled, and Published. Click a status to move the piece along. Agents create content as Draft, and Idea is a handy placeholder for your own notes. Move a piece to Ready once you are happy with it. When you schedule it, it becomes Scheduled, and then Published once it goes out.
❗ If you use Auto-Posting, a piece is set to Published for you once it goes out. If you post manually, set it to Published yourself.
Two ways to edit a piece
There are two ways to change a piece, and you can mix them freely:
Ask the agent. In the chat, tell the agent what to change, such as a shorter version, a different tone, or a new angle, and it rewrites the piece for you. Keep going until you are happy.
Edit it yourself. Open the piece and change the text directly in the editor, just like any other text editor.
Either way, your change is saved as a new version, so you can always switch back to an earlier one from the Version dropdown.
Editing a piece
Title: click the title at the top to rename the piece.
Formatting toolbar: Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, inline Code, headings, bullet and numbered lists, quote, and an AI-assist button.
Media: open the Media section and use Add media to attach an image. If you need a new visual, just ask Jose | Graphic Design Agent, and once created it appears in your Media library automatically.
Labels: tag a piece to keep your content organized, and create your own labels as needed.
Favourite and archive: the heart marks a favourite; the archive icon files a piece away.
Versions: the Version dropdown lists timestamped versions. A new one is saved when you regenerate, request variants, or edit manually, and you can switch back to any earlier one.
Character and word count: shown at the bottom-left.
Scheduling and publishing
When a piece is ready, click Schedule at the bottom of the editor to open the schedule panel and choose how it goes out. The three publishing modes and all their options are covered in Publish or schedule a post.
Copying or exporting a piece
To publish by hand, use the chevron next to the Schedule button. It opens an export menu: Copy for [channel] (formatted for that channel, ready to paste), Copy formatted text, Copy as Markdown, and downloads for Text, Markdown, or HTML. Use Copy for [channel] to paste a ready-formatted post and publish it yourself.
Sharing the conversation
The share icon at the top of the chat opens Share and creates a public link that lets anyone view the whole conversation. Use it with care, since it shares the entire chat, including messages added later.
Common issues
You need an earlier version back: open the Version dropdown and pick the timestamped version you want.
A manually posted piece still shows Scheduled: set its status to Published yourself. Only Auto-Posting marks a piece Published automatically.
Tips
Move approved pieces to Ready so they are easy to find and schedule from the Planner.
Keep your Planner tidy by moving manually posted pieces to Published.
