Working with agents: starting a chat and creating content
How to run a Whaaat AI agent to create content, by picking one from the Agents page, letting Whaaat AI auto-pick, or tagging an agent like @Lin, and what to do with the draft it produces.

Every piece of content in Whaaat AI is created by chatting with an agent. There are three ways to start that chat, and they all lead to the same place: a specialist agent produces a Draft you can refine, edit, and publish.
Three ways to start
Let Whaaat AI pick the agent. Click New Chat, describe what you need, and the right specialist agent is chosen automatically. Use this when you are not sure who to ask.
Tag an agent yourself. In the message box, type @ followed by the agent's name, for example @Lin for LinkedIn posts. Use this when you already know the channel you want.
Start from the Agents page. Open Agents in the left navigation, find the agent or channel you want, and click Chat with [Name]. This opens a New Chat with that agent already tagged.
What the agent gives you
When you send your request, the agent replies under its name (for example, Lin | LinkedIn Post Agent) with:
A short rationale for the approach it took.
The content itself as a Draft, shown in a content card with a title, a Draft status, and a character and word count. Click Open Content to view and edit it.
A posting recommendation where relevant, such as the best day and time to post.
A "Choose what you'd like to do next" list, such as creating alternative variants, adjusting length, or changing tone. Reply with the number or the option name to iterate, or type your own follow-up.
💡 Good to know: rate any response with the thumbs up or thumbs down icons. It helps us improve the agents' replies.
What to do with the draft
Once the agent gives you a Draft, click Open Content to open it in the content editor, where you edit the text, manage versions and media, and get it ready to publish. See The Content editor for the full editor.
You can also tell the agent, right in the chat, when to schedule the post and whether to auto-publish it. It asks you to confirm once, then schedules it. See Scheduling and publishing posts.
Common issues
The agent wrote for the wrong brand: check the active Brand Profile in the top-left toggle before you send. Agents always use the active profile.
You do not know which agent to use: you do not have to choose. Start a New Chat, describe the task, and the right agent is auto-picked.
The draft is close but not right: use the next-step options (variants, length, tone), reply with your own instructions, or edit it yourself. Keep guiding the agent until you are happy.
The results are not on brand: add more detail to your Brand Profile so the agents have more to work with. The more comprehensive and specific it is, the more on-brand the output.
Tips
@tagging is the fastest route when you know the channel; auto-pick is best when you do not.
No need for complex prompts; just tell the agent what you want in your own words.
Ask an agent to ask questions or draft an outline before it creates several pieces at once.
You can talk to several agents in one conversation; just tag them or mention their channels.
